Back to School AV: Innovation in Education Technology
As summer comes to an end and students make their way back into the classrooms, it’s the perfect time to think about how AV solutions can make the educational experience even better. Here is a look at some innovative ways classrooms have integrated AV into their learning environments.
World Renowned University
The installation team at Peerless-AV recently completed a collaborative project to design, engineer, and create a custom SEAMLESS Bespoke Mounting System for a world-renowned university. The goal of this project was to create a more immersive remote learning environment for the students who could not physically be in the classroom.
Alongside McCann Systems, the Peerless-AV team created two identical, 57-foot, 96-person concave video walls. The walls consisted of 168 Unilumin UpanelS 1.5 displays arranged into a curved design, allowing 90 students to successfully participate in this virtual classroom experience.

Sherlock Elementary School
In collaboration with LG Business Solutions and Snap Install, Peerless-AV completed an installation to elevate the experience of students at Sherlock Elementary School. Their dedicated work resulted in 34 curved LG Open Frame OLED Displays (24 units on the ceiling and 10 units in two columns on the wall), to greet students in the lobby.
These displays were supported by Peerless-AV’s mounting solutions. In addition to this, the fourth floor of the school features two video walls made up of eight 55-inch LG Narrow Bezel Displays, and eight Peerless-AV SmartMount® Supreme Full Service Video Wall Mounts (DS-VW775-QR). The school district was thrilled to be able to provide students with such an immersive visual experience with the help of Peerless-AV.
