From September 7th – 9th , we had the pleasure of attending and exhibiting at CEDIA 2017. Along with showcasing our latest residential solutions, our team had the opportunity to check out some of the other innovative home solutions and events being held at the show. Sony 4K Projector: As you know, we recently released our Peerless-AV UltraView™ UHD Outdoor TV that offers 4K resolution, so we were very impressed when we saw Sony’s VPL-VW285ES, a true 4K HDR projector. Priced at approximately $5,000, this projector is a great option for those who are looking to upgrade their cinema and gaming experience.

Josh.ai Micro: Taking home automation to the next level, the Josh Mirco debuted at CEDIA 2017. The device features far-field microphones, speakers, sensors, digital dial, touch surfaces, and complete home-automation in every room of the house. This smart device can control a variety of home functions, including thermostats, lighting, cameras, sounds systems, TVs, sensors, shades, fans, garage doors, security, and more.

Stewart Balón™ Borderless projector screen: Another product that caught our attention is Stewart’s new Balón Borderless screen. With a sleek, “floating” design, it feels like you’re in the movie that you’re watching. By removing the screen’s border, Stewart is able to place all of the focus on the screen. Homeowners will definitely be clamoring to add this to their media rooms.

Peerless-AV Daytona 500 Giveaway: Lastly, we had a great time at our booth, of course! We offered visitors an opportunity to take a tour and enter for the chance to win a Daytona 500 Prize Package! The package included two VIP tickets to the 2018 Daytona 500, a three-night hotel stay, airline gift card, and $250 spending money.
