There is no denying that the holidays are a time for movie watching as much as they are for shopping, baking, and spending time with family. Whether you’re channel surfing, popping in a DVD/Blu-ray, or Netflix binging, we have compiled a list of some of our favorite holiday classics for your viewing pleasure. Our AV Experts’ Favorite Holiday Movies
It’s a Wonderful Life – “George Bailey, I’ll love you ‘til the day I die,” and I’ll love this movie ‘til the day I die. This is not only one of our 
favorite holiday films, but one of our all-time-favorites. Sending a message of thankfulness and purpose, James Stewart reminds us all what is most important, not only at Christmastime, but all-year-round.
White Christmas – Is there a more classic holiday duo than Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye? We think not! This one is perfect for musical lovers and old-souls alike, and will have the whole family wishing for “Snoowwww.”
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation – We’ve been with the Griswold family to Europe and Wally World, but the most fun of all 
has been celebrating Christmas with them. With memorable lines you’ll recite each and every time, this movie expresses the thoughts we all have about spending the holidays with family. But of course, we will never say it out loud!
Die Hard – It is 110% a Christmas movie! It takes place during a CHRISTMAS party where a man has come back to make amends with his family and estranged wife, learning the true meaning of Christmas, while also taking out the bad guys. But, if you have to disagree with us, at least let’s all agree that Christmas or not, it’s a classic.
Christmas Story – We own the DVD, but you better believe we watch it on repeat on TV every Christmas Eve. Growing up a Jean 
Shepherd fan, this movie is a classic among fellow-baby boomers, but no matter how old you are, we can all relate to Ralphie’s dream of getting the perfect gift and stopping at nothing to ensure it makes its way under the tree Christmas morning.
Eight Crazy Nights – Okay, we admit this movie is not particularly good, but when it comes to Hanukkah movies pickins’ are slim. So, for fans of Adam Sandler and his “Chanukah Song” this one is for you.
Elf – Despite having already been out for 14 years (what?!) this “newer” film quickly became a family favorite. How can you not spend the 
entire movie rooting on Buddy the Elf as he attempts to bond with his scrooge of a father and spread Christmas cheer throughout New York City in an effort to save Christmas?
