SEAMLESS dvLED Innovations Through the Years
One of our favorite parts of our job is having the opportunity to work with customers and industry partners on some very cool and unique direct view LED (dvLED) video wall installations. It is always exciting for us and our customers to see the finished product.
Equipped with a variety of different challenges and expectations, these installations all have one common theme — improving the overall customer experience. Take a walk down memory lane with us and check out some of our SEAMLESS dvLED implementations below:
Mohammed VI Polytechnic University | Morocco
Peerless-AV® worked closely with three of its partners: Cegelec Maroc, Atrait Consulting, and Samsung France to bring this vision to life. The teams worked to design and deliver this mammoth dvLED video wall installation in the auditorium of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Morocco. This installation is the largest immersive video wall in North Africa and stands as a milestone in the history of Moroccan and even African architecture.
Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook
Working alongside AV integrator, Soluntionz, and dvLED supplier, Unilumin, our team at Peerless-AV delivered a triple XL, curved video wall that serves as a centerpiece for the Mohegan Sun, a flagship casino and entertainment destination located in Connecticut. This massive dvLED wall sets an elevated standard, therefore offering fans, attendees, and more an inviting, yet relaxing space.
The Jackie Robinson Museum
In collaboration with Ideum and Peerless-AV, the Jackie Robinson Museum sought to create a digital wall that will provide attendees with a look into the life and history of Jackie Robinson. It also offers a space for people to come together to appreciate each other’s humanity and diverse experiences. The installation, a central media delivery tool for the museum, provides an immersive way for attendees to view snippets of Jackie’s career achievements.
First Americans Museum of Oklahoma
The First Americans Museum of Oklahoma turned to Peerless-AV, Waystone LLC, and Ford AV to create an immersive, digital experience where visitors can learn shared American history through the lens and collective stories of the 39 Tribal Nations currently in Oklahoma. The Peerless-AV SEAMLESS Bespoke curved dvLED video wall serves as a unique focal point for the museum and pushed boundaries to create a gathering space for live music and performances that mimicked the center of a tribal village.
Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa
Peerless-AV and partners LG Business Solutions and NovMega Digital Solutions worked together to install the largest hospitality dvLED video wall in Canada at Westin Bear Mountain Resort. With a goal of becoming the first 5-Star Diamond Westin Hotel, Peerless-AV was tasked with creating a unique and visually stunning video wall display to reimagine the guest experience. This video wall is speculated to be the most pixel-dense dvLED wall in Canada, totaling over 20 million pixels.
Orlando International Airport
In need of digital signage for the newly built terminal, Orland International Airport collaborated with Ford AV to update the airport’s digital solutions. Using solutions from AtlasIED, Extron, Peerless-AV, and NEC, the airport’s new signage keeps all passengers informed of important updates, schedules, and more.
As dvLED has become a more affordable solution, we can expect to see a shift in the way it is used in regard to the customer experience. Many businesses, including offices, hotels, and museums, will continue to replace their existing LCD with dvLED technology in order to implement that “wow” factor. The increase of dvLED provides a growth opportunity for vendors to create more compelling and artistic experiences for customers and we’re excited to see how manufacturers will adapt to this trend heading into 2023.
