On your marks, get set, go! Just like a gunshot signaling the start of a race, InfoComm 2017 flew by us at record speed. Needless to say, it’s true – time flies when you’re having fun.
Did you make it to Orlando for this year’s largest AV tradeshow? If not, don’t worry because we have you covered with our top highlights from the show.
The Gathering of #AVTweeps
The Peerless-AV team had the pleasure to meet with many #AVTweeps from some of our favorite publications. The show kicked off with our Managing Director of Commercial Sales, Earl Naegele, speaking with Matt Scott of AVNation TV!
Nick Belcore, Peerless-AV’s Executive VP of Global Sales & Marketing, also had the opportunity to speak with Adrian Cotterill from the DailyDOOH.
Other great interviews we had at InfoComm include Margot Douaihy of AV Technology, Alesia Hendley of Social Slice, Craig MacCormack of Commercial Integrator, Bob Raikes of Display Monitor Magazine, Carolyn Valliere of Pro Audio Asia, Cynthia Wisehart of Sound & Video Contractor, Carol Campbell of Technology Insider, and more.
Winners of the Pit Stop Challenge
If you didn’t have a chance to stop by our booth, you missed our Pit Stop Challenge where booth attendees raced against each other to do their best “Pit Crew” impressions and change a tire on a model-racing car.
Excitement was at an all time high, with a Daytona Prize Package going to the fastest “Pit Crew” member overall, clocking in at 5 seconds! Our “Pit Crew” members with the fastest times from day one and day two each received a NASCAR inspired, Matt Kenseth watch. We also hosted a huge giveaway at our booth, with two attendees walking away with Daytona Prize Packages.
An Award Winning Show
Another great moment for us at this year’s show was the recognition we received across the industry. First and foremost, our Marketing Communications Manager, Megan Dutta, was awarded InfoComm’s Young AV Professionals award. Selected as the female recipient for this award, we are extremely proud of Megan and the impact she has made on Peerless-AV as a whole.
We also won Tech & Learning’s Best of Show award for our SmartMount® Collaboration Carts with Vertical Lift, and Digital Signage Magazine’s Best of Show award for our Floor to Ceiling Cable Mount. Our High-Bright Xtreme™ Outdoor Daylight Readable Display was selected as Commercial Integrator’s Best Outdoor Display in the 2017 BEST Awards program, too. Last, but certainly not least, our SmartMount® Supreme Full Service Video Wall Mount was chosen as the Most Innovative Mounting Solution by Systems Contractor News in its Installation Product Awards program.
Overall, we had a great showing at InfoComm this year, surrounded by an even greater team. Can’t wait to see everyone in Vegas for the 2018 show!
