Hard Rock Stadium

We recently discussed the incredible AV in the stadium that is home to the Miami Dolphins in our AV Tech at Super Bowl LIV post. The stadium, which was significantly renovated in 2016, now includes new displays consist of a 360-degree ribbon that wraps around all four corners of the stadium and a grand exterior video marquee. With Hard Rock Stadium’s addition of a new roof and massive video displays, the facility also received an upgrade in high-quality sound systems and many mounted televisions, specifically in the new and luxurious club level.

The Planetarium at The Frost Science Center

The Frost Science Center opened in 2017 and, since then, has become a popular attraction for curious minds. There are quite a few AV wonders in this museum, but our favorite is the 16-million-color 8K visual system. The theater allows up to 250 guests and doubles as both a planetarium and a 3D 360° visual experience. According to its website, the video dome is also tilted on a slight angle to give visitors the illusion that they are flying!

South Beach Hotels

South Beach in Miami is home to some of the most lavish hotels in the world! In each of these hotels, you can find an example of AV. From kiosks and large lobby displays providing relevant information, to televisions mounted in bars, by pools, and in casinos and restaurants for entertainment purposes, AV helps keep the hospitality industry exciting and interactive, especially in a lively city like Miami!

American Airlines Arena

American Airlines Arena, the home of the Miami Heat basketball team, also hosts concerts and other live events all throughout the year! While the inside holds plenty of AV to see, the exterior hosts a video screen so large, guests can see it from miles away. The screen displays important information, ads, and more. Because of the arena’s central location, the display has become a centerpiece for the city.

These magical displays are just a few examples of the beautiful AV in lively Miami, Florida. Are there any we missed? Let us know in the comments!
