With the Big Show just around the corner we are excited about seeing what technologies and solutions will be on display. In previous years the show’s focus was heavily on customer engagement, measurement, and influence. Solutions abound that directly enhanced the experience of the customer in retail environments and why would this year not be the same? NEC’s booth will be showcasing solutions that drive sales, measure impact, and deliver meaningful content to the consumer. One such of these solutions is our partnership with Peerless-AV.
So you may ask be asking yourself “why is he mentioning a mount provider as a tool in the engagement and driving of experiences for retailers?” First, the solutions we are showcasing with Peerless-AV in the booth are not just simple mounts. NEC will be showcasing complex and aesthetically appealing video wall systems that require adequate mounting systems, which Peerless-AV provides. These systems are designed to create a clean uniform pallet that retailers can use to enhance the store. Further, with the serviceability and ease of installation of these mounts, a retailer is able to have their wall up and running quickly, as well as be able to service when needed. NEC has worked for many years with Peerless-AV and many of our end user customers to deliver a solid solution for the video wall space.
Another key focus from Peerless-AV and NEC is to deliver solutions for engagement. What better way to engage with a customer than a kiosk system. At this year’s show NEC and Peerless-AV will be showcasing a dual sided 46” kiosk solution. This solution delivers the ability for retailers to add self-ordering and brand engagement with ease. With a design that allows for multiple branding opportunities as well as a clean feel, any retailer will be able to deploy these kiosks and see an instant positive impact to their business. As we see increased deployments of kiosks in the retail space, this is a must see solution for retailers.

About the Author: Richard Ventura is Vice President of Business Development and Solutions for NEC Display Solutions of America, managing the focus on developing new business and strategies for key vertical markets. He is responsible for the growth and market penetration of NEC’s award winning portfolio of products, as well as responsible for development of new go-to-market strategies and products for the solutions market.
Richard has spent 16 years within the NEC sales and marketing organizations focusing on display solutions, display technologies and projectors. During that time he has helped numerous client
relationships flourish and spearheaded campaigns which have elevated NEC’s brand and products throughout the marketplace. Richard has been honored to receive over one dozen internal awards from NEC for his exceptional efforts and tireless work ethic.
