One of our favorite parts of our job is having the opportunity to work with customers on some very cool and unique installations. Whether it be video walls, kiosks, outdoor displays, or a mix of all three, it is always exciting for us and our customers to see the finished product. Take a walk down memory lane with us and check out some of our most recent implementations below:
Theatre Box
In the fall of 2018, TCL Chinese Theatre announced plans for Theatre Box, an all-new, state-of-the-art movie theatre complex featuring restaurants, bars, and entertainment, to be located in the Gaslight District in San Diego, California.
To fully immerse guests with the new venue, TCL Chinese Theatre sought to create an exciting and inviting environment within Theatre Box, which would include the use of digital signage to wow customers. Utilizing Peerless-AV’s reliable solutions, including our Wall Kiosk Enclosures (KIP6 Models) and Special Purpose Video Wall Mount (DS-VWM770), FluidSound, the project’s integrator, was able to complete the project within the short time frame and meet the aggressive grand re-opening date. Since the completion, Theatre Box patrons have commented on the beautiful presentation of the video wall, and the theatre has been able to entice many outside visitors with views of the stunning displays.
Agua Caliente
When luxury casino, resort, and spa, Agua Caliente in Rancho Mirage, California was looking to further push the boundaries of aesthetics and create a unique, immersive experience unlike anything else in Palm Springs, Peerless-AV came forward with a solution like no other.
Utilizing our SEAMLESS by Peerless-AV® LED Video Wall Integration Program, we were able to work with the project’s integrator, Advanced LED Displays, to create a custom curved video wall for the resort’s sports bar, 360 Sports. The installation of the video wall officially made 360 Sports the first sports bar without televisions! The casino was thrilled with the finished project and guests can now enjoy the action from anywhere in the sports bar.
EPIC Sports Bar
Northern Quest Resort & Casino in Spokane, Washington was looking for a new solution that would truly engage patrons of its EPIC Sports Bar. The goal was to create a large screen that would accommodate all guests and bring a fun, sports-watching atmosphere to the space while also meeting the aesthetics of the venue. To address this need, installation partner YESCO brought on Peerless-AV to create an LED Video Wall using our SEAMLESS by Peerless-AV® LED Video Wall Integration Program. After an amazing 3-day installation, the result is a beautiful LED video wall that now allows customers to watch 6-8 games at once. We would have to say it was pretty EPIC!
The Flower Bowl
Talk about Flower Power! Nature and technology merge at Lancashire’s new and original leisure destination, The Flower Bowl, a unique, single-story, mixed leisure and attractions venue, including a curling rink, ten pin bowling alley, crazy golf course, golf simulator and multi-screen cinema all under one grass-covered roof. For this fun project, Peerless-AV was tapped to provide video wall mounting solutions for over 30 wayfinding and entertainment screens. In utilizing our Full-Service Video Wall Mounts with Quick Release (DS-VW765-LQR), installation was simple – thanks to the easy hang keyhole wall plate for fast mount positioning, tool-less micro adjustment at 8 points for precision display alignment, and custom wall plate spacers for perfect placement of each additional mount on the wall. With our mounts securely holding all displays, patrons can now enjoy the new contemporary hub that shows passion and care for nature and the surrounding landscape.
ECLA Campus
ECLA was seeking to create a completely unique living experience on its Paris Massy-Palaiseau Campus in Saclay, France that would reflect the aspirations for healthy living, productivity and openness to technological innovations. Part of this project entailed the development of a video wall comprised of Samsung’s IF series Smart LED panels that would be placed in the Agora area, a central meeting place at the heart of campus. While finding the best mounting solution was challenging for APIXIT, the integrator of the project, Peerless-AV’s Direct View LED Mounting Solution was selected for the job. Our mounts fulfilled both the technological and architectural requirements of the project, making the installation of the video wall seamless. Now, students can enjoy the shared space and the content being shown on display.
