Women in AV (WAVE) strives to promote the growth and performance of women by encouraging collaboration, sharing of ideas, and brainstorming about all things AV. The group seeks to educate and inspire women in the audiovisual industry through research, mentoring, and networking opportunities. Those looking to get involved can follow @WomenInAV on Twitter to stay up to date on the events held throughout the year!
Most recently, Women in AV (WAVE) UK announced its new leadership team, with the appointment of Peerless-AV Europe’s Beky Cann, director of PR and communications, to manage PR for the organization. We are incredibly proud of Beky and can’t wait to see all that she brings to the role!
The Women’s Council of the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA) is comprised of both men and women who support women in the technology and AV industry. When joining this council, AVIXA members and other professionals are provided with a global community through career empowerment alliances and local groups.
Peerless-AV’s very own channel manager, Christine Lauber, leads the Western New York chapter! If you are interested in starting a new chapter or joining an existing group to learn, network, and build lasting relationships with other women in the industry, you can find a local group nearest you!
Whether you’re experienced in the AV industry or just starting, the Women of Digital Signage offer members a pathway to advance women in the industry through the development of relationships and new opportunities. We’re proud to be a member of this organization as well!
Peerless-AV recognizes the critical role women play in science and technology, and will continue to support and celebrate all of those in the AV community!
